Awa Dia, MSN  (she/her) is a Board Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and is completing her Doctorate in Nursing Practice at the Ohio State University where she is exploring how hospitals can reduce carceral practices (i.e., restraints and seclusion treatment) in psychiatric settings.

Awa specializes in medication management and treatment across the lifespan for a full range of diagnoses, including ADHD, psychosis, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder and addiction.  Previous to her work at Radical Healing, Awa worked in psychiatric hospital settings.

Awa is fluent in English, French, Fulani and Wolof.
