Mariah Cina, DNP, APRN, PMHNP-BC (she/her) is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Anderson University. Mariah has 9 years of experience in the mental health field in a variety of settings, including inpatient, community residential settings, and home health. She has extensive experience working with patients across the lifespan and a variety of gender identities and backgrounds. Mariah has treated a range of mental health disorders including but not limited to: schizophrenia, PTSD, bipolar, depression, anxiety, ADHD, autism, personality disorders, and behavioral developmental disorders. She provides both medication management and psychotherapy with a combination of traditional and alternative practices.
Mariah takes pride leading her practice with a holistic non-judgmental, and trauma-informed approach to create the best quality of life, that fits the needs of the individual’s lifestyle and beliefs. She is extremely empathetic, easy going, approachable and guides patients to feel empowered in their treatment. Mariah believes in the importance of the mind, body, spirit connection and that wellness is achieved when there is a harmony between these three domains. In a world that is always evolving, she strives to be a constant in her patients’ lives while embracing life’s changes. She has a passion to provide care to those who are systemically oppressed populations, and is at the forefront of advocating for social justice.
