Sydney Rosenberg (she/her) is a Clinical Mental Health Counseling Associate and National Certified Counselor who feels strongly about the importance of providing accessible, affirming and equitable mental health care to people of all backgrounds, identities and cultures. Her approach is grounded in the belief that each person has the ability to discover their strengths, find their voice and share their story using creative therapies and client centered approaches. Sydney’s passions lie within using expressive therapies, including art therapy, in counseling as a means for expression, self-exploration, collaboration and as a creative avenue for individuals to reach their therapeutic goals.
In her clinical practice she supports individuals with autism, ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem, self-exploration, stress management, and adjustment to life transitions. Sydney trained in counseling with an emphasis in Expressive Arts Therapy form Appalachian State University. Professionally, she has enjoyed working with children, adolescents, and adults in outpatient and community based mental health settings. Sydney also has experience facilitating group therapy and expressive arts therapy groups. In Sydney’s free time she enjoys traveling, attending community events, learning new things, being a social butterfly, and spending time working on creative projects. |
