I am a licensed clinical mental health counselor associate, visual artist and photographer who uses warmth, affirmation and humor in my work with clients. I provide therapeutic collaboration through a social justice lens and work with adults in individual and group counseling formats. I am dedicated to community engagement and social justice because we do not exist in a vacuum. I am aware that my clients’ lives are affected by not only their identities and beliefs, but also how they move through and are seen in the world. With that understanding, I use person centered, DBT, and multi-cultural theories and interventions as methods for holistic healing. Areas of interest include LGBTQ+, POC, grief, depression, couples, racialized trauma, and anxiety. I currently conduct individual and group therapy sessions for adults over 18. Current/Previous Group Work includes: -DBT skills group for Queer and Trans folx -POC Mediation Circle -Counseling Group for Partners of Emerging Trans/GNC/Nonbinary folx |
